Not sure which plugin you have?

You don't need to know which plugin powers your feed

Someone else may have installed it, or you set it up long ago. You don't need the name: when the page shows a supported plugin, the result adapts to it.

Spotlight

Here the scan identified Spotlight 1.7.5 and an account type shown alongside the feed: Personal. A Personal account can't supply a full feed, so the first step on this result is switching the account to Business or Creator.

What the scan can confirm depends on the plugin and on what the page makes visible, so some results are more specific than others.

What the scan looks for on your page

Feed plugins leave signs on the page. The scan reads them and turns them into findings you can act on.

When the cause sits behind your login

Some causes only appear inside your WordPress admin or Instagram account, which the scan cannot read. Your result names the settings to check next.

Common questions

Straight answers before you scan.

Do I need to log in or connect anything?
No. The scan reads only the public page URL you paste. It never asks for your WordPress or Instagram login, and there is nothing to install.
What happens to the page I scan?
The scan fetches the page, checks it, and does not save the page content or any Instagram profile. Standard server logs may record the request, as they do for any website visit.
Why couldn't the scan read my page?
Usually the page is private or behind a login, the address is unreachable, or the page is larger than the 2 MB the scan reads. Check that you are pasting the exact public URL where visitors should see the feed, then try again.
What if the scan can't find the cause?
Then the result says so, gives you the most likely checks in order, and lets you copy a summary to send to your plugin's support team. Some causes, like a stopped scheduled task, do not show on a public page.
